Smeuse Studio Template License Agreement

Effective Date: August 3, 2026

This License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of all digital products purchased from Smeuse Studio ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing, downloading, or using any Smeuse Studio product, you agree to the following terms.

License Grant

Your purchase includes a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-business license to use the purchased product for your own business. This license allows you to customize the templates with your own branding, colors, fonts, imagery, and content for use within your business. Purchasing a product grants you permission to use it—it does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights.

Permitted Use

You may:

  • Customize the templates for your own business.

  • Edit colors, fonts, graphics, layouts, images, and text.

  • Use the finished designs in your own marketing and business materials.

  • Print materials created from the templates for your own business.

  • Create an unlimited number of finished assets for your own business using the purchased templates.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Share, sell, sublicense, gift, distribute, or transfer any template files, Canva template links, download links, or editable assets.

  • Allow multiple businesses or individuals to use a single purchase.

  • Upload template files or links to shared drives, membership sites, marketplaces, or template libraries.

  • Sell or redistribute the templates or any modified version of the templates.

  • Use the templates, layouts, or designs to create products for resale, including website templates, Canva templates, branding kits, social media templates, digital downloads, or other commercial design products.

  • Claim the original designs as your own intellectual property.

  • Remove copyright, site credit, or ownership notices where applicable.

One License Per Business

Each purchase is licensed to one business only. If you own multiple businesses, each business requires its own license. Employees or contractors working directly for your business may access the files solely for the purpose of supporting your business. Agencies, freelancers, or designers working with multiple clients may not reuse or transfer the templates for additional businesses.

Canva & Showit Templates

Products created for Canva or Showit are intended to be customized for your own business. You may fully edit the templates to reflect your brand and business needs. However, you may not duplicate, clone, repurpose, or distribute the templates for resale or use as templates for clients or third parties.

Third-Party Platforms

Some products require third-party platforms, including Canva or Showit. Purchasing a Smeuse Studio product does not include subscriptions to these platforms. Customers are responsible for obtaining any required software, subscriptions, or accounts. Smeuse Studio is not affiliated with Canva or Showit and is not responsible for future changes to their features, pricing, availability, or policies.

Fonts & Stock Assets

Some templates may include fonts or stock imagery licensed for use within the template. Certain fonts may require a Canva Pro subscription or separate commercial licensing. If you do not have Canva Pro, these fonts can typically be replaced with free Canva alternatives. Stock images included with the templates may be kept or replaced in accordance with their original licensing terms.

Implementation & Support

Your purchase includes the digital template files only unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Purchasing a template does not include:

  • Website setupTemplate installation

  • Branding servicesCopywriting

  • SEO implementation

  • Technical customization

  • Design revisions

  • Ongoing support or maintenance

Any future customization or design services are offered separately and are subject to Smeuse Studio's current pricing and availability.

Intellectual Property

All templates, layouts, graphics, designs, downloads, branding, and related materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of Smeuse Studio. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership, copyright, trademark rights, or any other intellectual property rights.

Unauthorized Use

Unauthorized sharing, copying, reproduction, redistribution, resale, or commercial exploitation of any Smeuse Studio product is strictly prohibited. Smeuse Studio reserves the right to revoke access to purchased products and pursue legal remedies, including claims for damages, attorney's fees, and other available relief, where permitted by law.

No Transfer of License

Licenses are non-transferable and may not be assigned, sold, or transferred without the prior written consent of Smeuse Studio.

Changes to This Agreement

Smeuse Studio reserves the right to update this License Agreement at any time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will govern your use of the product.
